It seems the rapper XXXTentacion was right when a couple of months ago, he talked about how his life would end in an Instagram video he shared.

In the clip, he talked about his eventual demise, and he was already certain his death would be a tragic one. Nevertheless, the rapper expressed hope that his influence will help his fans lead good and positive lives.

XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was killed at the age of 20 with a firearm during an alleged robbery that took place in South Florida on Monday.

Even though the rapper was on his way to an aspiring music career, he also went through some trouble during his short life.

Just two years ago, the young artist was detained by police authorities for the beating of his pregnant girlfriend at the time, Geneva Ayala.

Furthermore, XXXTentacion was arrested on multiple occasions for other violations of the law, such as burglary and gun possession.

The rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Ayala opened up recently and described her version of the story from the time she was dating the controversial artist.

According to Ayala, their turbulent relationship almost always involved abuse of some kind and XXXTentacion would threaten her with committing suicide if she ever left him.

The “Jocelyn Flores” rapper even stated he would make a donation to programs that fight against domestic abuse, but it remained unknown if he ever kept his promise.

The case of the 20-year-old predicting his ending correctly is not the first one among rappers, as both the iconic musicians Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. did so throughout their lyrics.

When it comes to XXXTentacion, the public is split. On one hand, most music fans acknowledge that he was one of the most promising talents hip-hop has seen in the past two decades, but it is also hard to ignore some of his legal troubles.

Ayala said that she feels “broken” after XXXTentacion’s shocking death.
