TheSpreadIt is a digital news and culture publication built for readers who want serious reporting without bloodless presentation. We cover the stories that move politics, entertainment, celebrity, royals, culture and sports — with context, urgency and an edge.
What We Are
Publishing since 2008, TheSpreadIt combines the discipline of a traditional newspaper front page with the energy of a sharper tabloid voice. The goal is not to make every story louder. It is to know which stories deserve weight, which deserve skepticism, and which deserve a headline readers cannot ignore.
Our front page is edited, not simply generated. Major stories receive clear hierarchy, developing stories can be followed over time, and analysis and opinion are labeled so readers understand what they are reading.
What We Cover
Our core desks are News, Politics, Royals, Celebrity, Entertainment, Culture, Sports and Opinion. We also build continuing storylines around major events so readers can follow how a story changes instead of encountering each update in isolation.
How We Work
We separate verified facts from allegations and interpretation. News reporting aims to be accurate and clearly sourced. Analysis explains significance and possible consequences. Opinion is allowed to argue. Our headlines can be aggressive, but they should remain supportable by the reporting beneath them.
Corrections and Accountability
We correct material factual errors and distinguish those corrections from ordinary updates. Readers, sources and subjects can contact the newsroom with documented concerns.
The People Behind TheSpreadIt
The publication is produced by editors, staff writers and contributors. Our Contributors page brings the newsroom together in one place.
