Fans of Kanye West have a lot to be happy about, as the latest album of the famous rap singer is finally out.

This is the first big project for the rapper since his album The Life of Pablo, which was released back in February 2016.

The newest work of the 40-year-old is simply called YE, and it contains only seven tracks. The album made its debut on Thursday at a small and exclusive gathering that took place in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Among the special guests of the event were celebrities like Chris Rock, Jonah Hill, Big Sean, and Pusha T. The elite crowd gathered together to listen to the seven short tracks in the evening around 10 P.M. local time.

Even though the new album is somewhat short, Kanye still manages to address a lot of different topics in his lyrics. The controversial rap music legend-in-the-making sings about various themes in the new tracks — ranging from his battle with drug addiction and mental health issues to Tristan Thompson’s unfaithfulness to the then-pregnant Khloe Kardashian.

In one of the songs’ lyrics, Kanye even references Kim Kardashian’s response to his controversial comments about the nature of slavery which were circulating in the news not long ago.

YE comes out with the cameos of some big names in the music industry such as Kid Cudi, Charlie Wilson, 070 Shake, and surprisingly, Nicki Minaj, whose appearance on the project was unexpected.

Besides working on the album, Kanye managed to release two more songs in April — “Lift Yourself” and “Ye Vs. The People” in collaboration with T.I.

The new album has forced some hip-hop music fans to separate the art from the man because of Kanye’s support for Donald Trump and the fact that he thinks that slavery was a choice.

The situation is reminiscent of what happened with R. Kelly, a brilliant artist with a very disturbing personal life.
