Jack Nicholson and his mini-me son, Ray Nicholson, appeared at the “Apollo in the Hamptons” gathering this weekend and by the looks of things, the legendary actor is really in love with his black dress shirts. Last year, the Carnal Knowledge actor sported an all-black outfit, while Mr. Ray Nicholson opted for a white shirt and black trousers.

On Sunday, the Nicholson pair along with a long list of celebrities and politicians including Jimmy Fallon, Mary-Kate Olsen, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and Bethenny Frankel were all present at the 6th annual “Apollo in the Hamptons” event, which took place at Ron Perelman‘s East Hampton estate, The Creeks.

This year, Ray Nicholson opted for a black and white striped shirt and once more, his father went all black. Ron Perelman, who is the co-chair of the not-for-profit organization, holds the star-studded event every year to raise money that will be used for the preservation and development of the legendary Apollo Theater. The funds raised from this event also “support education initiatives, and community programs.”

Like almost every year, Jon Bon Jovi, Smokey Robinson, The Roots, and actor Jamie Foxx provided the entertainment for the wealthy guests. A surprise appearance was made by Christina Aguilera, who belted hits like “Lady Marmalade” and “Ain’t No Other Man.”

Ray Nicholson, who is the actor’s second child with actress Rebecca Broussard, is also an actor and director. He worked as an actor and assistant director on The Benchwarmers (2006), A Reunion (2014) and Boots (2013).

The A Few Good Men star, who dated Broussard from 1989 to 1994 said that she has been a great mother to their two children – Ray and Lorraine – and confessed that he has been an absent father. He said:

“They’re great. I was never what you call a hands-on sort of father, but I’m lucky my kids have turned out the way they have. Parenthood is all about being in the lap of the gods. All you can do is your best.”
