Hey look Blair and Mrs. Garrett have been reunited. On Tuesday a mini Facts of Life reunion pic surfaced on the internet much to the delight of the fans of the popular 1980s comedy.
Facts of Life was a sitcom that aired on NBC from 1979, to 1988, starring Charlotte Rae, Lisa Whelchel, Kim Fields and Mindy Cohn (George Clooney was also a regular on the show).
The series followed a group of teens living in the fictive Eastland School, a private all-girls school in New York being guided, chaperoned by the adorable and wise housemother Edna Garrett played by Charlotte Rae.
The adorable selfie which was posted by Lisa Whelchel featured the actress sitting next to her co-star and friend Charlotte Rae.
Lisa Whelchel, 51, who played the beautiful and very classy Blair Warner in the comedy stared at the camera as she holds Charlotte Rae tightly by the arm.
Charlotte Rae sported a huge smile and opened her eyes widely for the photo.
The 88-year-old star looked very lovely in a black coat and red scarf which all complimented her beautiful grey hair.
The “Cover Me Lord” singer who explained that the photo was taken after a lunch date with Rae captioned it:
“Selfie with Charlotte Rae today at lunch. She gave me some good advice. (Just like old times.:).”
Like Betty White, Charlotte is working very hard for her young age – she is set to appear on “Girl Meets World.”
As for Lisa she will be having another “The Facts of Life” reunion soon – she will be teaming up with her former co-star Kim Fields for a film entitled For Better or For Worse that will air on Hallmark Channel.
