Donna Dixon stuns at Dan Aykroyd movie premiere. Bosom Buddies actress Donna Dixon looked sensational as she escorted husband Dan Aykroyd to the New York Premiere of his new movie Get on Up this week. Donna Dixon, 57 looked classy in a black dress while Dan Aykroyd added a little “blues” to his black attire.

On Monday night, Donna Dixon, 57, showed up at the New York premiere of Dan Aykroyd’s latest movie Get on Up (which is a James Brown biopic) in a figure flattering dress.

Donna Dixon who has been married to Dan Aykroyd for over 31 years looked incredible in a black dress that featured sheer top and sleeves.

The outfit featured a daring neckline fit for the former beauty queen.

The mother-of-three finished the cocktail look with red lipstick, black clutch bag and a pair of black leather transparent slingback pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

The “Who’s the Boss?” star kept her thick long hair cascading on her shoulders.

Dixon who was Miss Virginia USA in 1976 and Miss Washington DC World the following year retired from acting in 1997 after appearing in 7 movies including It Had To Be You and Wayne’s World and over 10 television shows like “No Man’s Land” and “Hawaiian Heat.”

But she is mostly remembered for the short lived “Bosom Buddies” with Tom Hanks which ran on ABC from 1980 to 1982.

Since leaving show business, Donna Dixon rarely does interviews, but her spouse who never stopped working has been giving her fans updates.

Dan Aykroyd who was in the comedy Tammy and will be appearing in the upcoming animated film Minions and hopefully Ghostbusters 3 (can somebody convince Bill Murray to sign on to this project already?) revealed that his wife has been exploring the world now that their three daughters are grown.

Donna Dixon who has a real passion for archaeology (beauty and brain) was accepted in New York’s Explorers Club thanks to her scientific discovery related to dinosaurs.

The Blues Brothers star did not say where and how it occurred, but his wife discovered bones of a new species of hadrosaurus, an animal that roamed the earth about 80 million years ago.

The Canadian legend who met Donna Dixon while working on the 1983’s film Doctor Detroit and who is battling several neurodevelopmental disorders also confessed that she the one person who helps him stay stable in life.

Donna Dixon was not the star of “Who’s the Boss”.

According to IMBD, she appeared in only one episode of that show – which led to a short-lived (4 episodes) spin off series, “Charmed Lives”.
