The romantic partner of food and travel expert Anthony Bourdain, Italian-born actress Asia Argento, showed some activity on Instagram just shortly before the death of her companion of one year was revealed.

The European activist and director made various posts on Thursday, updating her profile with fresh photos and video material.

The 42-year-old mother of two also tagged herself at Rome. One of the new photos uploaded by Argento showed the actress wearing a black T-shirt with the print “F – EVERYONE.”

The caption of the picture implied that the person responsible for this outburst knew precisely who they were. Later on, the post was deleted.

Just a couple of hours after Argento shared her Instagram picture, it was revealed that her boyfriend, celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain, had been found dead at the age of 61 in his luxury hotel room at the Le Chambard in Kaysersberg, France.

Apparently, Bourdain had decided to take his own life by committing suicide by hanging. So far, authorities have not discovered any leads that might suggest that Bourdain was the victim of a murder.

Following the news of her boyfriend’s demise, Argento issued a mourning statement on Twitter, where she expressed her devastation over what happened.

She described the famous chef’s many positive qualities and offered her condolences to his grieving family. Furthermore, the Italian actress asked for respect to the privacy for the family of the deceased.

Argento and Bourdain met back in 2016 when the paths of their careers crossed for the making of an episode of CNN’s Parts Unknown in Rome. Since then, in addition to being romantically involved, the two of them have often collaborated on different projects.

When Argento took a very public position in the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal, Bourdain was there to be a prominent backer.

The actress is one of the main faces of the #MeToo movement.
