A North Hills man shot his son named Amir Issa because his religion disapproved of people being gay/lesbian, and many things including a disturbing Facebook post foretold this horrible incident.

On Tuesday, police in North Hills arrested a 69-year-old Christian man named Shehada Khalil Issa outside of his family home. Issa used his gun to shoot and kill his 29-year-old son outside the house, before murdering his wife by stabbing her several times inside the home.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office held a press conference and revealed that Mr. Issa was facing one count of willful, deliberate and premeditated murder.

The name of Issa’s wife has not been released, and no one knows why he killed her. Issa claimed that his son stabbed his mother, and he was forced to kill him, but police have refuted the claims. Moreover, Issa did not say much about the motive behind the murder of his child, but law enforcement suspects he was angry over the fact that the young man recently came out as gay to his family and friends.

Issa is being held without bail and is due in court on April 11. If convicted as charged, Issa will serve life in prison without the possibility of parole. According to the North Hills authorities, Shehada Issa had already threatened to kill his son on prior occasions because he was gay and neighbor Maria Gomez confirmed that the father and son duo had been heard screaming at each other almost every day.

In the past months, Issa, the son shared a lengthy post saying that it was like being in hell living with his parents, whom he felt were asking people to assault him sexually. He wrote:

“Every day I wake up feeling like my sister or brother or mother or father is literally controlling me in my sleep. I have no free will.the moment I lose consciousness it feels like they tell people to rape and molest me and make it seem like I enjoy that. I was earning over $100k by age 26 and this has negatively impacted my life made ,me live in pain and become unemployed. If there is a devil or evil spirit, I truly believe it manifests itself in my family. My name is Prince Christ.”

He added:

“Does it make you feel better abiut yourself to call me names and control me? I dont want to be related to any of these people..nor their relatives watching and advocating this inhumane treatment. They have literally robbed my bank account, lied to courts and doctor to try and label me as mentally ill and failed in their attempts to have me falsely imprisoned and evicted. My doctors certified that i have no mental illness and the courts have cleared my good name and I do not have a criminal record. I successfully passed a background check. If there are any good people on this earth, please help free me from this inhumane slavery.”

He concluded by:

“I changed my life insurance and work retirement investments to go to ‘the church I was born in, the Seventh day adventist church of glendale.”

He also shared a video where he had a heated exchange with his parents about his sex life, at one point the father called him a pervert and said he should be castrated. However, some neighbors paint another picture and say the son may have been doing drugs. Francisco Gonzalez Jr., whose parents live next door, told the Los Angeles Times:

“Drugs can mess up your life,” Gonzalez recalled the suspect telling him. “My son had a great life, and then he did drugs and it all went away.”
