Lively Kids Litter: Blake Lively Hopes To ‘Spit Out A Litter Of Kids’ With Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively hopes to spit out a litter of kids with her husband of two years Ryan Reynolds. That’s one of the main takeaways from the “Gossip Girl” star’s interview in the September issue of Marie Claire.

Blake Lively is well anchored in the modern world and yet another side of her seems to follow more traditional paths. The dichotomy is probably the result of her Christian upbringing and her success in Hollywood at a very young age. Lively is career oriented but building a huge family with hubby Ryan Reynolds is still part of the conversation.

Her interview with Marie Claire highlighted the balance that she is trying to find between the two dynamics. Lively sat down with the fashion magazine to promote her latest venture, Preserve.us, a lifestyle e-commerce website with a touch of philanthropy.

The Green Lantern actress says Preserve.us was her way of reimagining a life where she was not a famous movie star in Hollywood. She disconnected from acting and birthed a site that tries to give voice to different aspects of her personality.

Despite the excitement around her new project, what grabbed headlines is her quote about starting a family with Reynolds. Lively said:

“I gotta get started. If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would.”

There is something definitely old-fashion about “spitting out a litter of kids.” Some will say that she was probably joking or will change her mind in the future. What if she was serious and she sticks to the plan. Her fans would probably find it cool or crazy.

During the chat she also says that her husband is her “best, best friend” and despite having very busy schedules they never spend a week apart. How do two of the hottest people on the planet spend their downtime?

Lively says “nothing” because that is what best friends do. Best friends do nothing when they are together.

Followers of the talented actress can see her next in Adaline, a romantic-drama starring Harrison Ford, Michiel Huisman and Amanda Crew. It will be released in 2015.
