Kate Gosselin’s Garage Sale Is Set For October 25, Money Problems?

Kate Gosselin’s garage sale is set for October 25th in Pennsylvania. The news of the garage sale has the world wondering, is the family struggling financially?

Few days ago, Kate Gosselin called a local radio station where she announced that she was having a garage sale. The reality star called in Y102’s Jackie and Scott where she explained that on October 25, she along with all of her 8 children will be at the Saint John’s Hains Church at 591 N Church Rd, Wernersville, Pennsylvania for their first garage sale.

The stars of Jon & Kate Plus 8 will be selling old clothes, shoes, books, furniture and appliances. Gosselin told the radio host that the reason for the garage sale is because she wants to unclog her home.

Mrs Gosselin who appeared in Celebrity Wife Swap revealed that she will be donating a portion of the money made from the sale to Local Animal Rescue League.

But the media is running with another explanation for the garage sale – she is broke and has a tough time taking care of Cara Nicole, Madelyn Kate, Alexis Faith, Hannah Joy, Aaden Jonathan, Collin Thomas, Leah Hope and Joel Kevin.

Since her hit reality series was cancelled in 2009, the mother of eight has appeared in several shows, written books and made paid appearances all over America to financially sustain her family.

But as of lately, the Gosselins have been having money issues. Jon Gosselin who became a waiter after the reality shows ended, was recently evicted from his home for not being able to pay his rent.

It is claimed that Kate has no help with the kids, which is why she has decided to go against their father’s wish and put them back on television. The Gosselin clan is set to appear in a new series later this year on TLC.

Kate Gosselin was blasted for her decision, and she replied by saying :

“Having said that, [TV] is a pretty fantastic way to feed my children, keep them in an amazing house, at an amazing school and make memories together.”

The family is expected to get about $40K per episode, but that is still not enough to feed all those mouths.
