Kaley Cuoco New Puppy

Meet Ruby, Kaley Cuoco’s new puppy and fuzzy friend. Kaley Cuoco appeared on a segment on E! News to talk about her passion for animals. She visited the West Valley Animal Shelter during the show where she met and fell in love with an adorable puppy. Few days after the TV appearance Kaley Cuoco and husband Ryan Sweeting went back to the shelter and adopted the dog named Ruby.

Earlier this week, Kaley Cuoco was a guest on E! News where she spoke to reporter Ali Fedotowsky about her love for animals and her drive to protect them.

During the segment Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting who was promoting Operation Blankets of Love (which is a non profit organization that collects toys and blankets for rescued animals living in shelters all across California) visited the West Valley Animal Shelter where she pet several dogs, including an adorable white puppy with sad eyes that would melt your heart.

The “Big Bang Theory” who is also fighting to end Canada’s seal hunt returned to the West Valley Animal Shelter three days after the television appearance accompanied by husband Ryan Sweeting where they adopted the rescued puppy and picked the name Ruby for her.

Via Instagram, Kaley Cuoco shared half of dozen pictures of her new puppy adjusting in the family.

The animal lover who is “mom” to a total of three dogs, shared Ruby’s touching story with her followers:

“Many of you have asked about Ruby’s story so here’s what we know. She is not a puppy! She is around 5 or 6 yrs old. Had puppies then was left on the side of the road. West valley animal shelter has had her for the last little while..until i showed up, we all love puppies! Esp me! But if you can, rescue a slightly older dog! They get the short end of the stick and end up living out their older days in shelters. Ruby is a dream. Calm, quiet and sweeter than candy. We love her forever.”

After adopting Ruby, Mr Sweeting surprised his wife with a romantic getaway to Napa – where they are joined by all their dogs as they sunbathe and enjoy good wine.
