Jenelle Evans Arrested Again: Reality Star Assaulted Jessica Henry, Nathan Griffith’s Girlfriend

Jenelle Evans’ attorney has issued a statement explaining why the reality star was arrested earlier this week. According to Amy S. Lawrence, Miss Evans landed behind bars because her former fiancé, Nathan Griffith, brought Jessica Henry, his new girlfriend, to her home to pick up his things and an altercation took place.

Jenelle Evans adds another arrest to her already impressive rap sheet and according to her lawyer, her ex-fiancé, Nathan Griffith, is to be blamed. Amy S. Lawrence, who represents Evans, revealed that her client spoke to Mr. Griffith on Thursday afternoon and warned him not to bring Jessica Henry, his new girlfriend, to her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Apparently Griffith, who is the father of Evans’ 13-month-old son, Kaiser, got angry during the conversation and hung up. To the Teen Mom 2‘s star big surprise, moments after the phone call, Griffith, and his new lady showed up in her driveway and a heated exchange took place between the former lovers.

At some point during the verbal argument, Henry got out the vehicle to confront Evans, who attempted to throw some water at her face. According to the attorney, while tossing the water, the glass slipped out of her hand, and it landed on the other woman’s head and injured her.

The 29-year-old woman picked up the glass and hit Jenelle Evans. Here is the lawyer’s version of the events that took place:

“She was at the house and had just got Kaiser [the 13-month-old son the pair share] down for a nap, and looked out the window and she was with him. And so she called him and asked him to please leave and he hung up on her. And then he pulled in the driveway and so she walked out and she had a glass of ice water in her hand, and it’s my understanding that he got out and …. had a verbal altercation.”

It is not clear, who called the police, (rumors claimed it was Griffith who contacted the authorities), but when they arrived on the scene, they decided to only arrest the TV star.

The Horry County Police Dept. in South Carolina issued a brief statement explaining why one woman was arrested and not the other:

“She was assaulted by her boyfriend’s ex, who threw a drinking glass at her head, causing injury.”

Evans was charged with assault and battery in the third degree and was taken to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center and later transferred to Surfside Jail in Myrtle Beach.

According to the lawyer, Evans threw the water at Henry because she felt threatened by the father of her child. Evans, who also has a 6-year-old son named Jace from a previous relationship, has been arrested a total of 13 times in the past five years.

This new arrest will not help Evans’s case as she fights to regain custody of the little boy from his grandmother.
