Ivanka Trump For Vice President? Some Are Pushing For Dad-Daughter Ticket

Ivanka Trump for vice president that is the latest idea being floated by many in the Trump campaign, according to Eric Trump. The news of Ivanka Trump being a possible option comes just hours after Joni Ernst and Bob Corker announced that they were not interested in being Donald Trump’s second-in-command.

Donald Trump might not have to look far for his vice president because the name being floated is Ivanka Trump, his own daughter. According to several reports, Trump is having a very hard time finding a VP.

Two politicians, Senator from Tennessee Bob Corker and Iowa Senator Joni Ernst, revealed on Wednesday that they were withdrawing their names from the potential VP list. Corker appeared on CNN where he spoke with Manu Raju about his decision and took the opportunity to suggest who should be VP.

Corker believes that the mogul should pick his daughter, Ivanka, who is also the Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions at the Trump Organization. The politician explained:

“His best running mate, by the way, would be Ivanka.”

Corker said:

“His best running mate, by the way, would be Ivanka. I know that wouldn’t pass muster, probably. But I don’t know that I’ve met a more composed, brilliant, beautiful-in-every-way person.”

Eric Trump also praised Ivanka on Fox News on Thursday. The proud brother shared:

“She’s certainly got my vote. She’s got the beautiful looks, she’s smart, she’s smart, smart, smart,” he said, adding that he had “no announcement to make on VP.”

The U.S. Constitution requires that presidents and vice presidents be at least 35 years old to hold office, and Eric Trump was quick to point out that his sister would meet the requirements. He stated:

“She’ll just be 35, so she’d just make that by about by, you know, seven, eight days.”

Eric went on to defend his father, who is being blasted for being anti-Semitic because he used an ad, which featured a Star of David. He claimed:

“You know, it’s interesting. My sister is Jewish. My brother-in-law is Jewish. We hire more Jewish people in our organization than anybody. I mean, half of our organization is Jewish. I hear these claims, and it is so ridiculous, and it is really the worst part of politics.”

Rumors claimed that Trump’s possible vice presidents include Newt Gingrich, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and, of course, Sarah Palin.
