Hillary Clinton’s ‘deal me in’ and Mary Pat Christie’s moment highlight challenge for Donald Trump

Hillary Clinton said “deal me in” at a rally while responding to Donald Trump’s accusations that she is playing the woman card. Moreover, there is a possibility that Mary Pat Christie might want in also. Mrs. Clinton went on to reveal that she will gladly play the woman card if it implies fighting to have better health care for females, paid family leave, and equal pay.

Hillary Clinton‘s “deal me in” comment might be supported by Mary Pat Christie. On Tuesday night, after winning four out of five primary contests (Clinton won Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, and Maryland and Bernie Sanders won Rhode Island.) The former United Secretary of State held a victory rally in Philadelphia, where she thanked Senator Sanders for pushing issues like campaign finance, trade, and equal pay to the forefront of the campaign.

The former United States Senator from New York was quick to pivot to general election mode, and she attacked the GOP’s presumptive nominee, Donald Trump. Clinton, who is expected to capture the Democratic nomination for President of the United States by mid-May, decided to answer Trump, who stated over the weekend that she was playing the woman’s card. While on FOX, Trump declared:

“The only thing she’s got is the woman card. I’d love to see a woman president, but she’s the wrong person. She’s a disaster.”

The former First Lady hit back by saying:

“Now the other day, Mr. Trump accused me of playing the ‘woman card. Well, if fighting for women’s health care and paid family leave and equal pay is playing the ‘woman card,’ then deal me in.”

In his victory speech, the real estate mogul, who won all five states, slammed Clinton again by saying that if she was a man, she would not be getting the nomination. Trump explained:

“The only thing she’s got is the woman card. I’d love to see a woman president, but she’s the wrong person. She’s a disaster.”

Governor Chris Christie’s wife, Mary Pat Christie, who was standing behind Trump, as he insulted Clinton, said with no words what millions of women were thinking (see the video of Mrs. Christie below).

Clinton has never shied away from women’s issues. The proud supporter of Planned Parenthood has always made it clear that she will stand behind the organization and make sure it is funded. She recently stated:

“I will always defend Planned Parenthood and I will say consistently and proudly, Planned Parenthood should be funded, supported and protected, not undermined, misrepresented and demonized,” “As your president, I will always have your back.”

When she does capture the nomination, Mrs. Clinton might pick a woman as her running mate – the name on top of her list is apparently Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Much like Taylor Swift and her envious girl squad, Clinton is planning to be surrounded by the brightest women when she becomes POTUS. She recently said in an interview:

“Well, I am going to have a Cabinet that looks like America. And 50 percent of America is women, right?”

Does Trump have a women problem?
