A Florida native named Edward Garcia has found a bizarre way to land in the news. On Wednesday, Edward Garcia, 44, made at least three 911 calls to report that he had “big and impressive muscles.”

The heavily intoxicated man called the female dispatcher a first time and told her “I have big muscles,” and later asked “Are you single?”

The dispatcher immediately hung up. Mr. Garcia called a second time and told her the exact same thing, she disconnected the call. Much to her surprise, Edward Garcia called her a third time hoping she would go out with him and discover his huge muscles.

That is when the unnamed dispatcher took action and contacted Florida police about the harassing calls. Florida authorities were able to track the phone number at a camping site in Lake Griffin State Park.

The officers called the number, and it rang in Edward Garcia’s tent. Inside, cops found Garcia lying on the ground with an open can of beer and three more cold ones by his side. After Police had taken Garcia into custody, they had to drag him to the patrol car, and he threatened the officer’s life by saying:

“I will head butt you and kill you.”

Things went from bad to worse once Garcia was placed in the vehicle, Garcia spit through the cage onto the back of an officer’s head and confessed once more that he would kill him.

Garcia was moved into a different vehicle with a closed cage and taken to Lake County Jail. Mr. Garcia was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and misuse of the 911 system and his bail was set at $2,500.

It is not known if he was able to post bail.
