Bill Cassidy Daughter Pregnant

Bill Cassidy daughter pregnant and unmarried at the age of 17. Bill Cassidy, a Republican from Louisiana running for the Senate has announced that his teenage daughter is pregnant and is due this summer. The conservative doctor is hoping to beat Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu in the midterm elections in November. The announcement is reminiscent of Sarah Palin’s revelation that her daughter Bristol was expecting after she was selected as John McCain vice president during the 2008 presidential election. The news about the teen daughter of Bill Cassidy being pregnant has many liberals and pro abortion groups slamming the physician for his conservatives and religious views that ban women from using contraceptives leading to unwanted pregnancies.

Last week, republican politician Bill Cassidy issued a brief statement where he revealed that his daughter is pregnant.

Bill Cassidy and his wife Laura Layden who have three children Will, Meg, and Kate did not say which one of their two daughters is expecting.

According to reports, the daughter who is pregnant is 17, unmarried and will give birth this summer.

The young woman plans to return to Baton Rouge High School this fall after giving birth as a senior.

The couple who are both physicians said in their statement that they support their daughter and are happy to become grand parents:

“Earlier this year, Laura and I learned we will become grandparents this summer. Our children have been the greatest blessing of our lives and we welcome our grandchild as a joyous addition to our family. Our daughter now faces a more challenging future than her peers. She has our unconditional love and support.”

Cassidy who is a specialist in treating liver disease is pro-life who is fighting for Congress to pass a bill that would make it illegal for women to have abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

The doctor is hoping to defeat incumbent Senator Mary Landrieu who has served three terms in the senate.

Thus far, the polls show that Landrieu is very vulnerable and may lose during the midterm elections in September.
