This week, Ostoloza, who was caught by an undercover NYPD detective, attempting to pimp her daughter for $200 during the 2014 Super Bowl, was found guilty of promoting prostitution and endangering the welfare of a child.
Yolanda Ostoloza convicted of pimping her teen daughter might be behind bars for 15 years. On Wednesday, a Florida mother by the name of Yolanda Ostoloza appeared in a New York courtroom where Justice Daniel Conviser threw the book at her.
Court documents showed that during the 2014 Super Bowl, Ostoloza attempted to pimp her teenager daughter. Ostoloza was running an online escort service, where she demanded $200 to clients in order to have sex with her then-15-year-old daughter.
A man, who was really a member of the New York Police Department, contacted Ostoloza who agreed to bring her daughter from Hollywood, Florida to New York to perform various sexual services.
When Yolanda Ostoloza arrived at the Midtown’s New York Hilton to meet the fake customer, she was arrested. The young girl never made it to the rendezvous because she was out purchasing condoms for the date.
As she was being questioned by the cops, Yolanda Ostoloza lied claiming that she brought her daughter to the Big Apple to spend time with her father.
During the bench trial at Manhattan Supreme Court, Justice Daniel Conviser found Yolanda Ostoloza guilty of promoting prostitution and endangering the welfare of a child. Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Rachel Ehrhardt said:
“Think about what a barely 15-year-old girl is supposed to be doing. Planning for her Sweet 16, preparing to get her driver’s permit. Doing her homework during her sophomore year of high school. Maybe even thinking about a high school sweetheart.But for [Ostoloza’s daughter], her mother had another plan for her… sexually exploit her child for money.”
During the trial, Ostoloza’s lawyer revealed that a man by the name of Damon Hayes, who is a pimp, is responsible for sending her daughter on a date.
The attorney claimed that Hayes had posted the teen’s photos on a prostitution site and taken her to meet with the undercover cop.
