Worst Celebrity Baby Names 2011: Moroccan & Bear Blu – Over 10,000 users took part in a poll on BabyNames.com and determined that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s 8-month-old twin son Moroccan Scott Cannon and Alicia Silverstone’s little baby boy Bear Blu Jarecki were tied as the tackiest names give to baby boys born in 2011.
While Cannon and Carey failed with the name of their son a name that was inspired by a Moroccan themed room in Carey’s house where her husband proposed, the site’s users seem to like the name of their infant girl – Monroe which was inspired by blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe.
As for the worst name given to a baby girl, the honor goes to former “Top Chef Just Desserts” contestant Tania Peterson who decided to call her child Zuzu Audrey Peterson.
Not all parents went wild with the names the picked for their offspring last year, singer Pink and her husband Carey Hart received the prize of the best name for their daughter Willow Sage Hart and
RnB singer/songwriter Ne-Yo whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr. and girlfriend Monyetta Shaw who named their son Mason Evan Smith got the best boy name award.
