Wikipedia Down
Wikipedia Down – Wikipedia Down is the big headline of the day. People all over the word have taken to their Twitter accounts to announce that Wikipedia has been having technical difficulties for an hour. Wikipedia.org has announced that they are aware of the situation and are working on the matter.
They said “Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties. We’re aware that the site isn’t working as usual and we’re figuring out the problem now. We’ll let you know more soon!”
This Independence Day seems a bit crazier for the internet than usual seeing that both iTunes Store and YouTube were hacked earlier today.
Whenever Wikipedia faces some downtime you can turn to Wikimedia for answers.
Thankfully the outage has been resolved The Wikipedia Twitter account was just updated with the following message: “Thanks for being patient, everyone. We’ve figured out the problem: power outage in our Florida data center. Slowly coming back online!”
We have double checked the site is back up and is running smoother than ever.
