Utah Man Wins Lamborghini, Smashes It Hours Later – Sometimes you win some and sometimes you lose some.
A Utah man by the name of David Dopp is now very familiar with that idiom after by sheer luck he won a $380,000 Lamborghini and crashed the luxurious car and almost injured his entire family just six hours after he was given the keys.
David Dopp participated in Maverik stores’ “Joe Schmo to Lambo” contest where he won every man’s dream – the rare lime green Murcielago Roadster.
The first thing David Dopp did was to take the expensive Italian car for joy rides with few family members and couple of friends.
While showing off the Murcielago Roadster in his neighborhood, Dopp decided to take a curve at 40 or 50 mph which is when it spiraled out of control on the ice and finished with hundreds of dollars of damages on the front-end, the wheel and the passenger side.
The man shipped the exotic automobile to Las Vegas to be repaired and plans to sell it when the 640-horsepower Lamborghini is returned to him – in order to pay bills and to buy Mrs Annette Dopp the new car she has been dreaming of.
