Usher lights shoes on fire on stage after performing the song “New Flame” with Chris Brown at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday. The moment went viral with many people wondering what kind of message the R&B singer was trying to convey when he did this.

R&B star Usher lights shoes on fire on stage, crowd goes wild , but many are left puzzled by the entire display. Some believe it was an homage to Michael Jackson, others say that he has a habit of removing his shoes during concerts and he just added the flame to play with the title of the song the two artists had just performed.

Whatever the reason behind the shoes being set on fire, fans found the whole thing to be very entertaining. Usher and Brown are the real artistic heirs of Jackson. There is also a shade of Jimi Hendrix to the idea.

The performance was the occasion for two epic dancers to show the world how good they are at what they do. A friendly battle of moves took place in front of a crowd that was screaming for more.

“New Flame” is taken from Brown’s X album that was released last week. Before being joined by Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend on stage, Usher performed some of his latest hits. The “Yeah” singer performed “Good Kisser” and “She Came to Give It to You.” These songs are from Usher’s upcoming eight studio album titled UR that was set to be released in September, but got delayed indefinitely because the first two singles did not perform too well on the charts. Usher introduced Brown to the crowd in a very nice way, he said:

“I’d like to introduce this young man that I’ve gotten to know. He’s a friend, he’s a brother, he’s a passionate artist and I have a fortunate opportunity to have shared a song with him.”

Usher and Brown partied hard in Vegas after the show was over.

It seems that those two have grown really close, it is now totally conceivable that Brown could appear on his friend’s upcoming album to give it a little boost. Would you like to hear a new Usher Chris Brown collaboration?
