Another day, another Donald Trump drama, this time around, Carly Fiorina is the target after she dared to stand up for Megyn Kelly. Mr. Trump took to Twitter where he more or less claimed that Fiorina talks in a boring way and listening to her gives him a headache.
Carly Fiorina is Donald Trump‘s latest target, and many expect her to use the fight to her advantage to keep climbing in the polls and hopefully make it to the next real political debate on CNN. Despite his feud with countless famous names, Mr. Trump keeps surging in the polls.
On Thursday night, over 35 million people gathered in front of television and computer screens to watch the first (big) GOP debate. The event held in Ohio opened with a bang, Fox News anchor and moderator Megyn Kelly asked a very controversial question to the Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again author. Kelly asked:
“You’ve called women you don’t like, ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ slobs, and disgusting animals. … It was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell. Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’s looks. You once told a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?”
Trump tried to use humor to diffuse the awkward moment by saying that all of the nasty names were directed at his longtime nemesis, Rosie O’Donnell. During the debate, the billionaire seemed to have received some of the toughest and most embarrassing questions.
The following day, Trump appeared on CNN where he told TV host Don Lemon that it seems that Megyn Kelly had blood coming out of her eyes and added:
“I just don’t respect her as a journalist. I have no respect for her, I don’t think she’s very good. She’s highly overrated.I got out there they start saying all this stuff… she gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions. You could see there was b questions. You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever… you could see she was off-base.”
He concluded:
“She’s a lightweight, I couldn’t care less about her”.
The comment became bloodgate and many Republicans including former HP CEO Carly Fiorina slammed Trump for insulting Kelly by talking about her menstrual cycle. Fiorina told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday’s State of the Union that:
“women understood that comment. And yes, it is offensive, women are horrified by Trump’s comments.”
She also took to Twitter to bash Trump and, of course, the Donald replied with some harsh words. Trump tweeted:
“I just realized that if you listen to Carly Fiorina for more than ten minutes straight, you develop a massive headache. She has zero chance!”
At this point, Donald Trump is the Teflon candidate. Despite him bashing Carly Fiorina, Mexicans, John McCain, Megyn Kelly and almost all other politicians in the race, he just keeps climbing in the polls.
Trump leads the Republican field with 32 percent of the vote, up 7 percentage points over last week’s Morning Consult tracking poll. Trump’s nearest GOP rival, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, clocked in at 11 percent.
Kelly weighed in on the controversy by saying that she will not apologize for doing her job as a journalist, expect Trump to hit back.

I always have and still do see Mr. Trump as a clown. If he were to become president. He would start world war 3. He lacks social grace and diplomacy. He has no respect for anyone. I wouldn’t even consider voting for him.
