Just when voters told themselves that the tone in this election could not get more repulsive, Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton a bigot, and she hit back by saying that he is the leader of a “hate movement.”

On Wednesday, the billionaire held a massive rally in Jackson, Mississippi where he has a very comfortable lead in the polls. Many unexpected things occurred at the rally; Trump brought out Mr. Brexit himself – Nigel Farage.

The British politician, who was the leader of the UK Independence Party, campaigned and convinced his nation to leave the EU. Farage did not endorse Trump, but took a shot Clinton by telling the crowd:

“I will say this: if I was an American citizen, I wouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton if you paid me!”

The Republican nominee took the stage to continue with his African-American outreach by declaring that Clinton is a bigot. The real estate mogul explained:

“Hillary Clinton is a bigot!”

He went on to say:

” … who sees people of color only as votes, not as human-beings worthy of a better future. She’s going to do nothing for African Americans. She’s going to do nothing for the Hispanics. She’s only going to take care of herself, her husband, her consultants, her donors — these are the people she cares about. She doesn’t care what her policies have done to your communities. She doesn’t care.”

The overwhelmingly white audience seemed confused and uncomfortable. A woman standing behind Trump opened her eyes and shook her head. Hours after Trump’s bigot comment, Clinton told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that her opponent was the chairman of a new hate movement. The former Secretary of State said:

“He is taking a hate movement mainstream. He’s brought it into his campaign. He is bringing it to our communities and our country. And someone who has questioned the citizenship of the first African-American president, who has courted white supremacists, who has been sued for housing discrimination against communities of color, who has attacked a judge for his Mexican heritage and promised a mass deportation force, is someone who is very much peddling bigotry and prejudice and paranoia.”

Clinton delivered a speech in Nevada Thursday where she painted a very dark portrait of Trump and his advisers as extremists.
