Tim Profitt, Rand Paul Supporter Steps On Woman’s Head Lauren Valle – A woman recently got a little more than she bargained for, when she showed up to a Rand Paul debate in order to protest the candidate, and was instead shoved down on the ground and stepped on by an overly enthusiastic supporter of the Republican.

The incident was captured on video, in which the woman is seen being shoved down on the curb, and then a man steps on her and appears to stomp down on her shoulder and head. Another man can be heard protesting the violence, saying, “no, no, no, no—Come on.”

The woman was Lauren Valle, who identifies herself with the liberal group known as MoveOn.org and was attempting to get near Paul in order to have her photo taken with him, when Tim Profitt, a campaign volunteer of Paul’s interferes.

Rand Paul issued a statement about the incident, saying, “Violence of any kind has no place in our civil discourse and we urge supporters on all sides to be civil to one another as tensions rise heading toward this very important election. We are relieved to hear that the woman in question was not injured.”
