The Willis Clan “America’s Got Talent” video has gone viral. The Willis Clan composed of 12 siblings from Tennessee impressed the judges on “America’s Got Talent” by being adorable and with their talent. The 8 girls and 4 boys delivered a country version of “My Favorite Things” from the 1959 movie The Sound of Music. The brothers and sisters ages 3 through 21 have had their reality show where they talked about their Christian faith, their Irish heritage, being home-schooled, losing six family members in a horrible accident and being awarded $100 million.

The Willis Clan “America’s Got Talent’s” performance has melted hearts but their life story will touch you even more.

Last week Brenda and Toby Willis from Nashville, Tennessee accompanied their 12 children for a heart warming performance on “America’s Got Talent.”

The multi-talent group of children Jessica, 21, Jeremiah, 20, Jennifer, 19, Jeanette, 17, Jackson, 15, Jedi, 14, Jasmine, 12, Juliette, 10, Jaime, 9, Joy Anna, 7, Jaeger, 4 and little Jada, 3 with their guitars, violins and banjos to deliver an unforgettable folk and country infused version of “My Favorite Things” which is mainly known as a Christmas song but originally appeared in the hit movie The Sound of Music.

The Willis family has known its share of joy and sorrow in the last few years.

Brenda and Toby Willis have raised a tight group of siblings, who have all been home-schooled in order to have time to focus on their various passions in life such as Riverdance, wrestling and music.

The children who master everything on their own have won national competitions in Irish swing dance and wrestling which earned them a short lived television series called “The Willis Clan” in 2011.

The devoted Christians were also hit with tragedies.

On Nov. 8, 1994, Scott and Janet Willis who are Toby Willis’ parents lost 6 of their 9 children during a horrible accident.

Scott and Janet and their 6 youngest kids were driving from Milwaukee to Watertown for a birthday when their van exploded.

Toby Willis, his parents and two remaining siblings were awarded $100 million from the wrongful death settlement.

In 2006 Brenda and Toby Willis’ home burned and the family barely made it out alive.

That is when they took the decision to live life to the fullest.
