The Blaze Glenn Beck – With the launch of Glenn Beck’s new website, there are bound to be critics. Some had speculated that Beck wants to run for office in the upcoming election, but now it appears that he just wants to increase his status in media.
“The Blaze” is a site that will cover controversial topics concerning America today. Beck was helped in his launch of the website due to his celebrity status, and he has employed some of the best writers in the business; both left and right wing.

He said that he wanted his site to be a source for breaking news, original articles and insightful opinions. It will be interesting to see how quickly the website garners an audience. Beck, who has worked as an anchor and personality for Fox News for most of his career, is a controversial figure on his own.

His recent “restoring honor” rally garnered a lot of attention from the media, and Beck has cited the coverage as one of his reasons for creating his own website.
It remains to be seen if Beck will be able to capture a piece of the online news media market. There are plenty of people interested in what Beck has to say, but without too much of his own involvement in the site, one wonders how successful this new venture will be.

Dear Glenn Beck: Congratulations with Blaze! Sir, what worries me the most is in the coming elections, specially the presidential elections is the fact that they control who votes? they count the votes? I saw a lot of fraud in the last election in my voting place, It was a disgrace! People were voting without ID’s, minors voting, criminals voting, none U.S. citizens voting, all the while singing (We will overcome, we will overcome) It is really no different than what happened in Venezuela with Hugo Chavez with 80% of the population against him, he still won the election? How can we guarantee a fair and honest election. Please look into this because no matter what we conservatives do, they can steal the election. God Bless you and your family. PS. also be careful and have good security, this people don’t play around. Your friend Truthteller

Dear Glenn, I am an avid supporter of yours, and have been for several years. I drive 35 miles from work to home every morning, and listen to you on the radio every morning. Even though I work nights, I always try to be up to see your show at 2pm (I live in Oregon, so it’s on pretty early). To say the least, I was dissapointed this morning when you were “bashing ” state & federal workers ” as a whole. I worke at a state prison, and have for 22 years. Yes, I do make good money, for the record, as a Sgt. I gross $52372 a month. Yes, that is a very good wage indeed. Add to that my benifits, and it’s even better. But, in defense, I work in a very dangerous, stressful job, that society expects. Do I earn more than the average non public employee? Yes, I most certainly do, but does the taxpayer get thier monies worth? I think so. I deal with individuals that have no regard for laws, rules, human life, or much of anything else. THese are the people who, based on thier behavior in the free world, have done so pretty terrible things. Not only do I have to keep them away from the general public, I also provide a safe environment for them to live in, a protecting them from each other, and protecting other staff in the prison, I am expected to model pro-social behavior, in hopes that when they are released from custody they may have had enough exposure to a different way of thinking and behaving that they can live a crime free life and be a productive member of society. So you see, this is not an easy task. Enforcing rules & regulations, yet in a way that potentially develops a change in thinking and behavior. Daily I am exposed to being asaulted, taken hostage, even being killed. How much is that worth? Ours is a job just as important as the police, the main difference is they hook them up, bring them to jail, & that’s the end of the story. We live with them day in & day out. And yes, at least in this state, we have given up plenty. to date, I’ve lost 4.75% of my salery, and all of my paid holidays, plus 4 more unpaid furlough days. I’ve not done the math, but that’s a pretty fair chunk of change I’d say. I am not bitter with this. Hard times mean hard times for everyone, and the state workers in this state are giving. The furture doesn’t look any brighter, and I am sure there will be more wage freezes, and unpaid furlough days. I do feel fortunate that I do have a good job, but at my age, having this many years in corrections, I may have to work far longer than I would like to, and far longer than I could retire just to survive. Think about it, would you like to be 65 and be responsible for breaking up fights between 20 year old inmates? Most people wouldn’t think of doing that. This is a reality here. On closing, I do respect you, and admire you and what you do. It just really bothered me what you said about state wokers. I am dissapointed.

      signed: still loyal, just dissapointed.

I just wanted to say thank you for bring out the fact that this Country needs GOD above all
else. What ever we need He will provide but we have to remember to pray and thank Him
for all he does for us.

      God Bless You.

what iI beleive the voters are looking for from the republicans, conservitives or tea partyers is leadership stop playing the blame game and come up with a plan that will work and work fast. If we held our polititions to the same high standards that we hold coaches(Bill Parcells has never said that he shouldn’t be held responsible for losing football games because the coach before him did a losy job)and ceo’s (who was the last ceo who got to blame anything on the last guy???) In either case they wouldn’t get four years to blame anyone or anything.Leaders are supposed to lead not point fingers at everyone and everything for the reason that they can’t lead.
