Is Tara Reid too thin? Is she anorexic and is unaware, or denying it? Those are the questions being posed by the fans of the American Pie actress, according to The Inquisitr.
On Thursday, which was Thanksgiving, Tara Reid took to Instagram where she shared a photo of herself in a two piece bikini. Reid appeared extremely thin in her sky blue bikini bottom and colorful bra.
Tara Reid who is currently enjoying a Thanksgiving vacation in Palm Springs with her parents, used the caption to explain that is what she looked like before the turkey, beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.
Miss Reid captioned the pic:
“Visiting my parents house in Palm Springs for thanksgiving before the turkey.”
On Black Friday, she tweeted that she ate so much that she fell asleep at 9 PM and forgot she had to go out with her friends.
She tweeted:
“Wow guys I ate so much from thanksgiving dinner I fell asleep at 9 pm and was supposed to meet up with some friends and just woke up now.”
Those worried about the “Tara Reid too-thin lifestyle” took two very different angles in addressing the star.
A group bombarded the Sharknado actress with harsh body shamming related comments. One person stated that she was anorexic and needed professional help to deal with her demons.
Another claimed that she had a weird body and she needs to cover up with a tank top or a one-piece swimsuit. A third person tweeted that she is sick like Angelina Jolie and those pictures are a cry for help.
But few others claimed that the 38-year-old does not have an eating disorder. Those people point to the fact that all of her life, Reid has been naturally thin.
They say that Reid looks happy and seems to be enjoying life, so critics should leave her alone. Over the years, Tara has been pushing that explanation for her stick-thin legs, tiny arms and waist.
One advised Tara Reid to stop posting pictures on the internet. On Halloween night, she shared a picture of stick-thin legs on Twitter and she was blasted. The actress who was getting into her Halloween costume, was forced to delete the selfie.
While she has confessed to having breast implants in the past, she has always denied that she had an eating disorder. In 2004, Tara Reid had failed liposuction and breast enhancement operations. She said at the time:
“I got lipo because even though I was skinny, I wanted – I’m not going to lie – a six-pack.I had body contouring, but it all went wrong. My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing.”
