Sting Kids Won't Inherit $300M fortune

Sting children will not inherit his $306 Million trust. Sting has revealed that his kids won’t inherit his more than $300M fortune. The British music icon who came from humble beginnings said in a recent interview that he plans to spend and enjoy his hard earned money with his wife Trudie Styler so there will not be much left in his trust fund. The rocker wants his 6 adult children to work and be successful on their own.

Sting’s six kids better work, because they won’t inherit a dime from their father’s vast $300M fortune.

Talking to the Daily Mail, former Police frontman confessed that he has told his 6 children that they should work and provide for themselves because he doubts there will be any money left from his estimated $300M fortune after he dies.

Sting whose real name is Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner told the publication that he had a very honest conversation with Joseph, 37, Fuchsia, 32, Brigitte, 30, Jake, 29, Elliot, 23, and 18-year-old Giacomo about the money they will never see:

“I told them there won’t be much money left because we are spending it. We have a lot of commitments. What comes in we spend, and there isn’t much left.”

So why deny his family such an impressive wealth?

The 62-year-old musician who grew up in Wallsend, England with a milkman as a father and a hairdresser as a mother watched his parents work hard and struggle to take care of him and his 3 siblings.

The “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free” said that he believes in the following principle – one must work to make a living.

Sting went on to share that despite the fact that his kids were born withe silver spoons in their mouths, they have never asked anything of him other than his love and support. He claimed :

“They have to work. All my kids know that and they rarely ask me for anything, which I appreciate.Obviously, if they were in trouble I would help them, but I’ve never really had to do that. They have this work ethic that makes them want to succeed on their own merit.”

Sting might have been inspired by president Barack Obama who said last week that he wants his daughters Sacha and Malia to work for minimum wage.

Chelsea Clinton has also claimed that she is not obsessed with money.
