Shonda Rhimes is on top of her game, but she is not forgetting some of the drama she faced before reaching this level of success. The producer of ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder takes a shot at former Grey’s Anatomy star, Katherine Heigl in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Katherine Heigl left Grey’s Anatomy in 2010, but she is still on her ex-boss’ mind. Heigl who portrayed Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Stevens from 2005 to 2010, left the show before her contract ended and famously withdrawn herself from Emmy consideration in 2009, because she found the writing weak. The 27 Dresses actress was also very critical of Isaiah Washington when he was fired in 2007 for saying the “F-word” at the Golden Globes.

Shonda Rhimes has not forgotten about all of this drama. In a new The Hollywood Reporter profile, the popular screenwriter slams Heigl’s past behavior. Rhimes said:

“There are no Heigls in this situation. I don’t put up with bullshit or nasty people. I don’t have time for it.”

The 44-year-old producer was answering a question about the things that make Scandal such a big hit. Rhimes’ relationship with race and gender was also discussed in the lengthy profile. She explained:

“I find race and gender to be terribly important; they’re terribly important to who I am. But there’s something about the need for everybody else to spend time talking about it … that pisses me off.”

Shonda Rhimes’ comments on race and gender come after New York Times TV critic, Alessandra Stanley called her an “angry black woman” last month in a piece that was meant to be positive.

The mother of 3 is seen by many as the most powerful showrunner in the American television landscape. Rhimes’ most recent project How to Get Away With Murder, the series starring Viola Davis is the most talked about new show of the season. The ABC drama was sold to 158 international territories on Monday.
