Shannon Beador airs her husband’s affair and explains that she will do whatever it takes to save the marriage. The 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County opened with few bangs, which included an affair, a boob job and few fights over money.
Shannon Beador has confessed that her husband, David Beador, had an affair. Mrs. Beador dropped the affair bombshell on the very first episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10.
With countless websites like Ashley Madison, Cougar Life and Arrangement Finders, a new study has revealed that 56% of married men have affairs because they are unsatisfied in their relationships and routine has settled in. Clinical psychologist Andra Brosh explained:
“Cheating usually occurs in the phase of companionate love, when couples begin to settle down, have kids and solidify the life being built together. We more often think of women complaining about a lack of romance, but men feel it, too.”
It appears that Mr. Beador, a father of three, felt the lack of romance and went to seek the companionship of another woman, according to his wife. Shannon Beador told viewers that she had been attending couples therapy with her husband because she discovered that he was cheating thanks to a late-night phone call. The reality star explained:
“I caught him whispering to this person on the phone and I suspected something was wrong…I just knew something was different and I was told I was crazy.”
She also stumbled on hotel receipts, which confirmed the identity of the other woman. Shannon Beador went on to say that her husband confessed to the affair on April Fools’ Day out of all days. She went on to add:
“At the time when it should’ve been the best year of my life, he started an affair.”
The couple has no plans to separate and have talked to their three daughters — 13-year-old Sophie and 10-year-old twins, Stella and Adeline – about the incident. She stated:
“Divorce is not an option, it has never been an option for me. I love my family and I will do whatever it takes to keep my family together.”
On her official blog, Shannon Beador elaborated more on her decision to air her dirty laundry, and gave more details about the cheating scandal. She wrote:
“The decision was not an easy one. But after much counseling and discussions with our children, we thought that we would tell our story with the hope that other couples who have faced similar heartbreak can repair and restore their marriage like David and I are doing,”
Experts say to avoid cheating in a marriage, plan nights out together or with friends, set aside time for sex, (try new positions, have sex out of the bedroom and make it last), and discuss hopes and dreams, not just workdays and the children’s tennis match or ballet class.
Divorce is not an option=translation. I’m a fool who will stay with a spouse no matter how many times they have hurt or disrespect me.
