‘Saved by the Bell’ Tell-all To Air On Lifetime

Saved By The Bell Tell All In Works

Saved By The Bell tell all in the works, which means our sweet and innocent memories from Bayside High are going to be ruined by Lifetime. There is indeed a Saved by the Bell tell-all in the works that will air on Lifetime. The television network has announced that it will air the Saved by the Bell tell-all called The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story this fall. The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story will be a behind the scene look at the cast of the hit 90s show. The made for TV movie will focus on how the young stars of Saved by the Bell Story dealt with teen issues and the Hollywood pressure while being on one the most beloved television series.

In a lengthy press release Lifetime has announced that it will air a ‘Saved by the Bell’ tell-all movie titled The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story on September 1st, 2014.

The teen comedy which was broadcast on NBC from 1989 to 1993 was pretty funny and wholesome.

The weekly episodes focused on the adventures of a group of friends attending the fictive Bayside High School in California run by the comical and often clueless Mr. Belding (played by Dennis Haskins.)

The pals consisted of Zack Morris (played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar), the blonde Californian dude with the perfect smile who often got in trouble and melted the all American girl Kelly Kapowski (played by Tiffani-Amber Thiesen)’s heart over and over.

Lisa Turtle (portrayed by Lark Voorhies) was the fashionista of the clan and Samuel “Screech” Powers (played by actor Dustin Diamond) was the awkward nerd who was obsessed with Lisa.

There was also Jessie Spano (played by Elizabeth Berkley) the smart girl of the class and A.C. Slater (played Mario Lopez) the school’s bad boy and star football player whose dad was in the military.

Saved by the Bell

The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story will star Taylor Russell McKenzie as Lark Voorhies, Dylan Everett will take on the role of Mark-Paul Gosselaar while Alyssa Lynch will be Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Julian Works will be Mario Lopez as for Tiera Skovbye she has been selected to play Elizabeth Berkley and Sam Kindseth will be the not so dorky Dustin Diamond.

So who will play Mr. Belding? Is Dennis Haskins making a cameo? According to the press released the movie will focus:

“on the experiences of six unknown young actors placed into the Hollywood spotlight, exposing the challenges of growing up under public scrutiny while trying to maintain the squeaky clean image of their popular characters both on and off-screen.”

Dustin Diamond already gave a behind the scenes look in his 2009 memoir, it included some not so kid friendly stuff like steroid, rape, drugs, the cast members having threesomes, which has us wondering how much dirt is there left to dig and air on Lifetime?
