Ryan Callens and Maria Elena Callens have been killed because they were too strict. Ryan and Maria Elena Callens who had five children were murdered in their Texas home by their 16-year-old son. The boy believed that they were wrong for not letting him watch certain violent movies, restricted his internet use and banned him from eating certain food. According to reports Ryan and Maria Elena Callens also homeschooled their child because he had behavioral issues.

On Tuesday at around 2 AM, Texas authorities were called to a home located in Shepherds Hill Lane, where they discovered the bodies of Ryan Callens and Maria Elena Callens.

The Frisco police officers had received several 911 calls about gunshots coming from the home.

Officers found the body of Ryan Callens, 48, lying in the living room with a single gunshot wound and Maria Elena Callens, 49 was discovered in the master bedroom with shot wounds in the head and on one arm.

According to the police, when they arrived to the Dallas suburb, they found the teenage boy in the front yard with his face buried in his hands and telling his older sister that he did it.

When Miss Callens asked her sibling what did he mean, if that was the plan, he said that he committed the crime and pointed to the rifle, which was next to the father’s body and had a flashlight taped to it.

Several neighbors spoke to the cops saying that the young man was very nice and they are shocked by what he did.

They claimed that the parents banned the teenager from drinking sodas and he had a curfew.

The teen’s friends stated that he was unhappy by the fact that his parents were overly restrictive.

He told his peers that he was not allowed to watch R-rated and adult movies.

The minor also complained about the fact that the internet usage was strictly monitored.

The young Callens was also being home-schooled, which he liked because he was bullied in the public system.

According to reports Ryan and Maria Elena who had a teen daughter in high school, two other children in college and another who recently graduated, kept a close eye on their killer son because he had behavioral issues.

The teenager is currently being held at the Collin County Juvenile Detention Center and will appear in court in two weeks.
