There is a new royal wedding ahead, and some are very excited about it, especially in Sweden. Sofia Hellqvist, a former erotic model, is set to marry Prince Carl Philip, Duke of Värmland and become HRH Princess Sofia, Duchess of Värmland. The Swedish royal wedding is already being compared to William and Kate’s lavish affair.
Royal wedding alert, Sofia Hellqvist is set to wed Prince Carl Philip of Sweden next month. Sofia Hellqvist, an ex-model, who often posed half naked using snakes and leaves to cover her private parts, will become HRH Princess Sofia, Duchess of Värmland on June 13.
Prince Carl Philip, who is third in line to the throne, and Hellqvist started dating in 2010 and despite the royal family’s dislike of the model, the romance bloomed. Talking about his fiancée, Prince Carl Philip, Duke of Värmland stated: “I have the incredible honor of being engaged to this fantastic girl. Sofia has said yes to sharing the rest of her life with me.”
Miss Hellqvist claimed the proposal was “a fantastic surprise, I expected a totally normal day at work. I was amazed and a little bit shocked. Carl Philip is the most humble person I have ever met, which is what made me fall in the beginning.”
Sofia Hellqvist and Prince Carl Philip have settled down since meeting each other.

– These children are seldom helped by someone coming in on their schoollesson and informs them that they can get HIV if they do not use condoms, says Sofia. They live in a reality where that kind of knowledge doesn’t matter unless you at the same time build their self esteem. Condoms doesn’t help with bad self esteem, so when we have them in our project and they feel safe with us we work on getting the girls to respect themselves and their bodies. Of course we also work with the boys, so that they respect the girls borders.
I think the Swedish Lutheran church will annul the wedding if more stuff comes out about her.
