The Rolling Stones 2015 tour dubbed the Zip Code Tour is officially happening. After a series of delays, the iconic band revealed that there will be 15 concerts during the North America leg of the Zip Code Tour.

The Rolling Stones 2015 tour will launch on the 24th of May 2015 at the Petco Park in San Diego, California, it will zig-zag through Ohio, Florida, Tennessee and Kansas.

Prior to ending the tour on July 15, 2015 in Quebec City, Canada, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts are set to perform at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana on Independence Day.

Moreover, this is where the drama lies and the move has angered some of Rolling Stones’ supporters. Via social media, they are blasting the group for doing a concert in the state after Governor Mike Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which gives the right to individuals and businesses to refuse to do business with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

Fans want the Rolling Stones to boycott Indiana like the indie rock band Wilco, but by the looks of things that will not happen.

A rep for the band was quizzed on the Indianapolis performance, and they replied with “no comment.” Few fans are also upset that the group is not coming to their state.

Tickets for the Rolling Stones 2015 tour go on sale on April 13, expect few additional dates to be announced soon.

  1. I am going to avoid Indiana like The PLAGUE because of their STUPID LAW in effect UNTILL it is repealed…I feel bad for all the LGBT people in the state who have to live with that kind of horrible Homophobia…As for The Rolling Stones Boycotting Indiana–I bet their tour is already completely set up and locked in…I hope they can make a speech against Homophobia and this Horrible law…Truthfully, I’m not sure Indiana will feel “FREE” enough to serve food to the stones, or let them pay for their Luxury hotel Rooms, Limo service, etc….. Indiana’s government has made a HUGE, COSTLY MISTAKE! I’ll take ALL my vacation Money elsewhere until Indiana comes back out of The DARK AGES!
