The Robert Pattinson FKA Twigs dating rumors are starting to be everywhere. The Twilight actor is said to be in love with the English singer.

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are dating, and madly in love, if the latest rumors coming from England are to be taken seriously. Pattinson and his new rumored girlfriend were recently photographed together in New York.

It is the first real relationship for the 28-year-old movie star, since he split from Kristen Stewart last year. A source close to the new couple spoke with The Sun and said:

“It’s the real deal between Rob and Tahliah. They had been able to keep their relationship secret until recently, but they’ve already smitten. He’s been taking her on dates for the last month or so, and has even flown her out to stay with him in New York. He also loves going to her gigs.”

Twigs whose real name is Tahliah Barnett does not want the relationship to go public because she is afraid the publicity will overshadow her burgeoning musical career. Barnett wants to be famous on her own merits and not because she is involved with a famous actor.

The same insider explained:

“The main thing for Tahliah is that the relationship remains low key. She wants to be known for her music, not just as ‘Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend’. She’s worried about being bogged down by constant comparisons to Kristen.”

FKA Twigs released her critically-acclaimed debut album LP1 in early August. It was not a massive commercial hit, but Twigs’ music does not really try to appeal to pop audiences. The sound is more experimental than what is currently played on radio.

Barnett is 26 and she is a mixed-race girl. She was born from a Jamaican father and an English-Spanish mother. The FKA in her moniker stands for “Formerly Known As,” it was added because another artist also uses Twigs professionally. Barnett previously worked as a dancer for acts like Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, and Taio Cruz.
