Rick Perry Oops Moment: Huge Gaffe At CNBC Debate (Video) – Rick Perry will forever remember that it was the Department of Energy that officially killed his presidential campaign.

This evening eight politicians took to a podium for the CNBC Republican presidential debate that was held in Rochester, Michigan.

Like in previous debates the candidates shared their point of views on the economy, the European economical meltdown, Obama’s health care law, social security and unemployment.

While former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was forced to defend the fact that he is a flip-flopper by accidentally flip-flopping on how long he has been married, and former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain had to talk about why five women accused him of sexually harassing them and calling Nancy Pelosi a ‘princess,’ the headline of the 90 minute spirited debate is Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s gaffe on the cabinet departments.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry who has always stated that he was a bad debater was asked to name the three agencies that he would cut and rapidly named two which were Commerce, Education, the politician was unable to name the last one. Rick Perry said:

“I’ll tell you: it’s three agencies of government, when I get there, that are gone: Commerce, Education and, the –uh — what’s the third one there? Oh, five! Okay! Commerce, education and the uh, the uh….The third agency of government I would do away with — Education, the, uh, Commerce, and let’s see — I can’t. The third one, I can’t. Sorry.”

As if the gaffe was not embarrassing enough for Mr Perry who recently appeared drunk during a speech in New Hampshire, ended the stumble by saying OOPS!!

Rick Perry who has been having some bad debate performances will be thrown under the bus by his detractors who have been repeating that he is not mentally up for the challenge of being the president of the United States.
