Rachel Alexandra Woodward:Woodward Stakes – Rachel Alexandra with the help of Calvin Borel has won the Woodward Stakes and has therefore made history today by being the first female and filly to claim the victory on these tracks.Despite a tough fight with Da’Tara Rachel Alexandra was able to run the 1 1/8 miles in 1:48.29.Borel said after his victory:

“The last 40 yards I was a little worried, but she just kept digging in.”
