Pop Winans Dies – Pop Winans dies is the sad headline that has hit the Gospel circle today.David Winans better known as Pop Winans has passed away at the age of 74.Winans was admitted to the Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak on Sept. 30 after he became disoriented and fell in a restaurant’s parking lot where he suffered 3 more strokes and fell very ill.
David and his wife Delore a famous gospel duo under the name of Mom & Pop Winans,had 10 children who are all singers.
The Winans family is the winner of 35 Grammy Awards in total.
