Paz De La Huerta Boardwalk Empire Star Fired
Paz De La Huerta Boardwalk Empire – HBO’s hit TV show “Boardwalk Empire,” will soon premiere its third season – but it will be sans Paz de la Huerta.
The beautiful Latina who played Lucy Danziger – originally Nucky’s ex-girlfriend who became his worst nightmare by lying about being pregnant for him when she was really expecting federal agent Van Alden’s baby has been removed from the show.
The last time we saw Lucy Danziger she was heading to a nearby store for baby formula and decided to never come back home.
As to why the cable network decided not to renew De la Huerta’s contract, no one really knows – but her recent run in with the law certainly did not help her case, nor did her drug issues.
In the summer of 2011 the drunk bombshell was arrested and trialled for punching Samantha Swetra, a fashionista who was featured on MTV’s reality series “The City,” in the nose in a New York hotel during an early morning brawl.
Paz de la Huerta who will be staring in “Nurse” and “Amsterdam, Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story” is not the only star from “Boardwalk Empire,” walking the plan, Michael Pitt’s Jimmy Darmody and Dabney Coleman’s Commodore Kaestner have all been axed.
