Optimum Online Webmail : Optonline Technical Glitch – Optimum Online which mainly serves the following states New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania appears to be having some technical difficulties today.

Clients of Optimum are claiming that they are having a hard time accessing their accounts, when they try to log in they get the following message “Secure Connection Failed”.
The company is aware of the matter and is working on the server issue to solve it as soon as possible.

      Optonilne email is still not working (7:50 a..m. – 7.16.10). Any information on when this glitch might be fixed?

      Optonline e mail not working unable to open email just get a gray screen this is so madden any information on how to deal with this problem please.

        I’m having the same problem and it gets better because we’re traveling and sending mail from OutLook doesn’t work if we’re off our home network. I think I found a solution … Gmail! Works on the DROID as well. Goodbye opt online!

      Having the gray screen issue today with some of my email accounts – I have a total of 5 with Optonline, having issues with two for sure, the others are getting in more often than not. Is this the same issue still going on?

      Getting a gray screen here, too (central NJ). Doesn’t seem to matter which browser I use.
      Do they even have the option of *not* using Flash?

      I don’t normally use optonline.net for email, just trying to get in to verify my login credentials — judging by the number of complaints about optonline mail I see when I google, I’ll happily stay with Yahoo for my email…

      I AM A CUSTOMER AND VERY FRUSTRATED WITH MY EMAIL. i AM AVERAGING OVER 150 JUNK
      EMAILS EVERY DAY AND FOR SOME REASON THE; ‘DELETE” ICON TO REMOVE THEM IS ALL OF A
      SUDDEN NOT SHOWN ON THE TOOLBAR. CAN SOMEONE AT OPTIMUM PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS
