Oldest Bond Girl Bellucci, Monica that is, has made it clear that she does not want to be called girl at the age of 50. Monica Bellucci, who is currently in her native Italy, filming scenes with Daniel Craig for Spectre – the 24th James Bond film has revealed that she wants to be called a Bond woman instead of a Bond girl.

Oldest Bond girl Monica Bellucci, has given herself the title of Bond woman. At the age of 50, Monica Bellucci is the oldest Bond girl ever, according to The Inquisitr.

The Italian bombshell will be starring opposite Daniel Craig in his fourth performance as James Bond in the Sam Mendes-directed Spectre that is due out in the fall.

Miss Belluci said at her age, she was surprised when Mendes called her for the role of Bond girl, she believed that she was going to replace British actress Judi Dench, 80, whose character M, the head of MI6 and Bond’s superior, was killed off in Skyfall. When Mendes explained that he wanted her to be his next Bond girl, a very shocked Monica Bellucci said:

“Why do you call me? I’m 50 years old. What am I going to do in James Bond?”

The mother of two accepted the role of Lucia Sciarra under the condition that they refer to her as the new Bond woman, not Bond girl.

The Matrix Reloaded actress said:

“I just blurted out: I’m not a girl, I’m a woman, I’m a mature woman,”

Monica Bellucci, who has topped few “100 Hottest Women of All-Time” lists and has modeled for Dior and Dolce & Gabbana, has since then embraced the role and confessed that true sexiness is in the mind. The sexy mama said:

“What is the problem with a man of 30 being with a woman of 50?. It is a matter of energy and the soul, not a matter of age of the body. True sexiness is in the mind, the imagination, not in the age of the body.”

On Tuesday, Mr 007 himself, was seen with his Bond girl, we mean Bond woman, filming scenes in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, Rome, Italy.

According to onlookers, the duo shot a car chase scene featuring Bond’s silver Aston Martin. The stars were also spotted along the bike path on the banks of the Tiber River in another car chase scene. Floriana Sacco, 36, who witnessed Monica Bellucci, shooting a funeral scene near EUR’s civic museum, told local media:

“I hope to see James Bond. Someone told me that there is also Monica Bellucci. We hope that as all other film settings in Rome, it will be beautiful and it will be good publicity to this beautiful city.”
