Obama On Palin 2012 – In an interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters, President Barack Obama revealed that he “does not think of Sarah Palin,” the muse of the right leaning movement Tea Party who is hoping to clinch the Republican nomination for president in 2012.

Mr Obama told Barbara Walters in the chat that is set to air this Friday.

“I don’t think about Sarah Palin, I am focused on being “the best possible president “.

However the U.S. President did acknowledge Palin’s popularity saying:

“Obviously Sarah Palin has a strong base of support in the Republican Party and I respect those skills. But I spend most of my time right now on how I can be the best possible president.”

According to a newly released CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll, Obama would have an 8-point advantage over the former Alaska governor if the elections were held today.

But do not expect poll numbers and Obama’s semi dismissal of the former vice-president candidate to slow her down.

The former governor of Alaska has been traveling all across America to promote her new book “America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag ” and has been strongly criticizing Obama and Michelle in order to please the voters in her base whom she hopes will send her to the White House.
