Nicole Madison Lovell’s alleged murderers and kidnappers have been arrested. Two bright teenagers, Natalie M. Keepers and David Eisenhauer, have been detained and charged in the death of 13-year-old Lovell, who vanished from her Virginia home last week.
Nicole Madison Lovell, a beautiful and strong 13-year-old from Virginia, disappeared on Tuesday or early Wednesday, only to be found dead several days later. Over the weekend, authorities announced that two Virginia Tech students were arrested in connection with the brutal murder.
On Sunday, Virgina police announced the arrests of Natalie M. Keepers, 19, of Laurel, Maryland, and 18-year-old David Eisenhauer, from Columbia, Maryland, both students at Virginia Tech. Mr. Eisenhauer, an engineering major and track star, was first arrested on abduction charges, but was later charged with first-degree murder after Nicole Madison Lovell’s body was discovered.
As for Keepers, a brilliant student, who worked for NASA, she was charged on one felony count of improper disposal of a dead body and one misdemeanor count of accessory after the fact in the commission of a crime. According to reports, Eisenhauer, who might have befriended Lovell either on Facebook or a teen dating site, used this “relationship to his advantage to abduct the 13-year-old and then kill her. And Keepers helped Eisenhauer dispose of Nicole’s body.”
According to Lovell’s mother, she sneaked out of the family home in Blacksburg, Virginia, using a dresser to climb out of a window. The young girl left her liver medication behind taking just a blanket and a bottle of water with her. The teen’s body was found near Route 89, close to the North Carolina border, about 60 miles from where she was last seen. Police did not give a motive or say how Lovell died, but did reveal that tips and leads obtained from social media resulted in the arrests of Keepers and Eisenhauer.
Eisenhauer and Keepers are being held without bond in the Montgomery County, Virginia, Jail. Blacksburg Police Chief Anthony Wilson said in a statement:
“The speed at which this investigation has moved today has been nothing less than incredible. We owe that to the outpouring of support and tips from the Blacksburg, Christansburg and Montgomery County communities.”
One of Keeper’s former teachers at Hammond High in Columbia, Maryland, said that the arrest was shocking, and added:
“I am really shocked and upset, it just doesn’t make any sense to me right now. I have never had anything like this happen in my 36 years of life.”
Blacksburg Mayor Ron Rordam stated that the entire community is mourning and praying for Lovell’s parents, family, and friends.

Everyone may think that this is too harsh of a lesson for a 13 yr old to learn but everyone SHOULD learn it! DON’T sneak out! You get what you deserve when you sneak around behind peoples backs.
This was a very stupid situation that could have been very easily avoided. The parents could have done a better job of parenting, plain and simple. Teach this kid right from wrong and give harsher punishment for doing things like sneaking out. Apparently this girl thought she’d get a slap on the wrist if she sneaked out and maybe got caught.
Well she got caught by the wrong people and she paid the highest price. At least her stupidity won’t be added to the gene pool.
I’ve taught my daughter to be better than this and she would never dare try a stunt like this. And she’ll read this story and understand that there is another reason why she should never sneak out of the house to meet some stranger that is trying to seduce her online. No woman should fall for that crap.
