A Nicky Hilton engagement ring photo has people talking and fans rushing to send their well-wishes. After weeks of speculation, Paris Hilton’s sister is finally showing the ring to the world.

Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild got engaged on August 12, 2014, it took the heiress over one month to give the internet a good look at her impressive engagement ring. Hilton and her new fiancé started dating in 2011.

This will not be Hilton’s first marriage, she was previously married to childhood friend Todd Andrew Meister for 3 months in 2004.

Rothschild who lives in England is the heir of a famous European family who made a fortune in banking. His father, Sir Evelyn De Rothschild is worth over $20 billion. Despite his family fortune, Rothschild has worked hard to make a name for himself as a financier.

After proposing, Hilton and her future husband embarked on a long European trip that took them to places like Italy and France. The 30-year-old fashion designer was standing close to the Eiffel Tower and La Seine when she took the picture of the engagement ring. Hilton shared the snap on Instagram under the caption, “#engagementmoon in Paris.”

Paris is very happy for her younger sister, after the engagement news broke, she took to social media to share her excitement. The 33-year-old businesswoman wrote:

“Congratulations @NickyHilton on your engagement! I’m so happy for you! You will be the most beautiful bride! Such a lovely couple! Love you both so much!”

Rothschild popped the question in a very romantic way, Us Weekly reported:

“They went on a romantic anniversary trip over the weekend,” the source reveals. “He took her out on a boat into the middle of Lake Como and he proposed, got down on one knee and everything. It was incredibly romantic and beautiful.”

Nicky Hilton engagement ring is said to be worth a little less than $1 million.

Hilton seems to be at a great point in her life at the moment, she published her first book 365 Style, earlier this month.
