Nicki Minaj Barbie Doll For Charity – Barbie has finally received her own Barbie.
Rap superstar Nicki Minaj’s who calls herself Barbie and refers to her fans as Barbs’ dream has come true because Mattel has released a doll that resembles the rap superstar.
The doll named Nicki Minaj Barbie, inspired by her “Pink Friday” CD cover which is dressed all in pink will hit the auction bloc with the proceeds going to Project Angel Food, an organization that provides meals for people living with HIV and AIDS.
The female emcee told Billboard:
“It’s just a one of a kind, limited edition for charity, and so I never thought Mattel would even pay attention to me. For me this is a very major moment, because it just shows that you can come from nothing and still be a force in the main world, a business woman, and hopefully a mogul one day.”
The Nicki Minaj Barbie doll will be available for auction at CharityBuzz.com on Wednesday Dec. 7 with the starting bid at $1,000.
