Nicki Minaj ‘Anaconda’ NSFW Cover, ‘Bang Bang’ Teaser Win The Web

Nicki Minaj Anaconda Photo

Nicki Minaj “Anaconda” single cover has sparked an intense debate on the web over its raunchy nature. The artwork for Minaj’s new song is so hot that it comes with its own NSFW (Not Safe For Work) tag. The female rapper got blasted for showing poor taste, with a cover that put an immense focus on her voluptuous derrière.

On Thursday, Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj born Onika Tanya Maraj put out the cover art for her song “Anaconda,” the second single taken from her upcoming The Pink Print album that will be released later this year.

In the picture, the 31-year-old entertainer can be seen wearing a pink G-string and doing squats in her blue Jordans. The “Super Bass” singer completed the controversial look with a sports bra that matches the color of her sexy panties. As if all of this hotness was not enough, Minaj took a very seductive gaze at the camera.

The “Anaconda” single cover immediately went viral, some people found that it was unacceptable and that she crossed the line of trash. The scandal created around the NSFW photo did not scare Minaj who decided to reload instead. The femcee saw some hypocrisy in the way her cover was received since models from Kate Upton to Chrissy Teigen have shown their posterior in magazines in the past without any similar reaction.

The Other Woman actress went on to post pictures of Upton, Teigen, Lily Aldridge, Nina Agdal showing their assets with the caption “acceptable.” Although she did not say it, some of Minaj fans saw a racial component to the backlash she faced. Other commentators went in a different direction suggesting that the artist’s butt is too big that’s why she is generating all that drama. Those people added that if Minaj kept her bottom natural and did not opt for injections, or other enhancement procedures, flashing it would not have been so shocking.

The drama unfolded for two days with the “Your Love,” artist doing her best to capitalize on it. “Anaconda” that was produced by Polow Da Don and Da Internz is expected to debut on July 28. Minaj is credited as the sole writer of the track.

Feeling that there is no such thing as bad publicity, Minaj also decided to push her collaboration with Jessie J and Ariana Grande titled “Bang Bang” on Instagram, by sharing a snippet of her verse on the song that will have its world premiere on Tuesday.

This upcoming week is looking like the one when Nicki Minaj reminds people that she is the reigning Queen of Hip Hop music.
