Netropolitan: Social Network For Rich People Is Now Online

Netropolitan Social Network For Rich People

Netropolitan, a social network for rich people is now online and you can become a member for the small price of $9,000. Dubbed the Facebook for the 1%, Netropolitan was created for wealthy folks with more money than time who are looking for a safe environment to talk about things that only rich people can understand.

On Tuesday, Netropolitan, the social network for rich people was launched without much fanfare.

Netropolitan.club was created by James Touchi-Peters, who revealed that while talking about certain things on normal social networking sites, other users would get upset, jealous or mock him and his friends.

The composer, performer and former conductor of the Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra came up with the idea to have a very private club where rich people can share pictures of their vacation in Aspen or Bora Bora. Touchi-Peters told ABC News:

“I had to come to the conclusion that my life is different from most other people. Probably a lot of people, I think. We’re going to create the service and let the members decide what to do with it. We expect most of the activity will be on the discussion boards.”

A place where they can discus about the yacht they plan to buy and give tips on her to keep the champagne at a perfect temperature while on a private jet.

A safe haven where rich folks can complain about the truffle that was missing from their omelet and the fact that the leather in their 2015 Bentley Continental is all wrong.

So, how much does it cost to be part of the most exclusive club in the world?

Just like a real country club, about $9,000 for the first year and $3,000 for each following year.

Of course, the Netropolitan can afford to be ad-free and expect all contents, messages and photos shared between members to be well protected.

There will be professional moderators overseeing the site’s activity.

The exclusive online community is also a place of business where millionaires and billionaires can create special groups to find ways to get even richer.

The membership will be capped at 250,000, which is still quite a bit for an “exclusive” club. If all goes well, the enterprise could become a billion-dollar venture in couple of years.

  1. Money it can’t buy you friendship. Whatever you do with your money is between you and God. If you must spend it on something like this I Feel you must not have a Life. You need to find a relationship with Jesus, and He will show you where the money and friends are.

    1. people with money tend to be more educated and don’t believe in jesus, santa or the tooth fairy.
god is for poor uneducated people to believe that they will be rewarded in the next life. most rich people worked hard for their money and they have earned the right to spend it connecting with like minds away from dim wits. I am an atheist and make 65,000 a year.

      1. Hmmm, I’m a believer and I make more than you.

God is also for RICH EDUCATED people who believe that no matter what your status on earth, if you’ve given your life to Christ, you will get your rewards based on your life and service to Him. S. Truett Cathy is the perfect example. He was wealthy on earth AND lived his life according to God’s scriptures and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.

  2. social media for 1% ……lmao….that’s cool my well off scros. Allow me, on behalf on the poor community, to apologize for making your lives harder, and forcing you to take cover under a nine thousand dollar service charge. That’s just a crime against humanity, forcing the rich into their own social network…I guess you can still call it a network given there’s quite a lot of you….now gathered at one site….with financial links to said site….Ya’re kind of making the holy grail of hackery here.

Seriously, I can’t relate because I’m so so rich. Is a tired, tired ass excuse to be a bitch. lol…historically y’all always feel separate. Probably because you take great strides to be separated regardless of if it is actually beneficial for you. like this facebook for the rich, it’s just stupid and self indulgent.

    1. Why you jelly? I mean seriously, Why are poor people always so jelly? Get over it, go hang out with your poor friends and do whatever it is poor people are doing these days.

      1. Its not a matter of being jealous. Its just disgusting. Why would anyone pay so much money for basically nothing. Take that 9000 and help someone or join a volunteer group of some kind.

  3. Last year my net worth was $8.7M and a i wouldnt pay 9K to join a “rich Facebook”. I’m not different nor do i need a segregated site to brag about my houses or where i vacationed this Spring. my pants go on one leg at a time like everyone else. Contrary to what the other person commented I credit my success to hard God and my hard work. He has led me the whole way through. Although the site is a smart business decision,I embrace my less fortunate friends and help them get more culltured
