National Ice Cream Day 2010
National Ice Cream Day 2010 – Too hot of a summer day for you? The United States eats more ice cream per person than any other country in the world. July has been designated as Ice Cream Month in the US, and every third Sunday of July is Ice Cream Day. If you didn’t know about the holiday beforehand, you now have a new favorite holiday. July, being the hottest month in most state, is the perfect time to cool down with a scoop of ice cream. Top it off with some strawberries, blueberries, and peaches and you are set.

There are many different kinds of ice cream to choose from. It seems like every company has dozens of different flavors for you to choose from. It can be tough to decide if you should go with a tried and tested favorite, or go for a new flavor you may potentially enjoy more. Ice Cream Day is the day to figure those riddles out.
No other holiday gives you an excuse to eat massive amounts of ice cream for virtually no reason at all. The holiday was created simply because it is hot out during July, and it seemed like the appropriate time to celebrate the history of ice cream.
