Lollapalooza 2010 – Lollapalooza starts on Friday, and is the largest music festival that is held on a yearly basis in the United States. The huge festival has already permeated bars, clubs, and music venues in the city of Chicago. The party atmosphere within the city is great right now, and the times are only going to get better as the city gets deeper into the festival.

McFest is a charity concert that is thrown on the Wednesday before Lollapalooza. Unfortunately, this year the teenager who runs the benefit concert was sued by McDonalds, and most of the performances were cancelled. The festival began on Thursday and will run through Sunday.

Mine Lyrics Taylor Swift : New Song – Taylor Swift, the young singing sensation, has released her new song “Mine”, the first single from her soon to be released album ‘Speak Now’.

The song hit iTunes on the 4th of August. The song, ‘Mine’, is about trying to find a guy who’s the exception to the rest, which I’m sure is extremely hard to find for someone so attractive and talented.

Also, it is has an uplifting feel to it, a little bit ‘poppy country’, with the big chorus that seems to work well in many songs. It is a rather happy and uplifting song in it’s subject, as the relationship in question speaks of a rocky beginning ending in happiness for all.

“Do you remember we were sitting there by the water?/ You put your arm around me for the first time/ You made a rebel of a careless man’s careful daughter/ You are the best thing that’s ever been mine,” Swift belts on the sing-along chorus.

She faces her emotions, and from her other works it is a more mature minded piece, with a more mature look at relationships.

She hopes that fans can connect to her more mature mindset, and that she can uplift and give hope to others having trouble in or finding relationships.
