Mo’Nique Suing Landlord Over Smelly House – Mo’Nique was hit with a lawsuit by her landlord for not paying her rent – and she is counter suing because the rental smells like dog poop.
While the unnamed house owner is claiming that the Academy Award-winning actress owes him $370,000 in unpaid rent, the “Precious” star filed papers in Fulton County, Georgia making some strange allegations.
The Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School’s host stated in the court documents that the $22,000 per month mansion that she took over in March of 2011 smells like dog feces, wet dog, and unknown urine.
Along with the nasty smells, there are an overflowing septic tank, mold problems and a broken security gate on the premises.
According to Mo she had a verbal contract with the individual that permitted her to annul the contract with 60 days notices and leave the house if she ever encountered any problem.
Of course the landlord is denying that the pair ever had such agreement and is demanding that she pays what she owes.
